There was a scream, I remember that, it was a woman's scream, I think. It was also cold, I couldn't feel my body. I remember a strange tingle like sensation radiate through my being, I think that's when they took me inside, but that only lasted for a second.

It's blank up to the point where I was warm. Cold and warm, that's all I remember from that morning. I think they had laid me down on one of the beds in the nurse's office, I'm not sure. I remember hearing a murmuring, I think that was someone trying to talk to  me about what had happened, why I had done what I did, but I couldn't hear enough to respond, not that I would've had I been able to. After the murmurs stopped i drifted off further, and I thought I saw the brink. I remember the brush of something soft, like lips, against my cheek and something wet, maybe tears, but that could've just been made up out of a hope, a wish of something I wanted to be there.

Ugh...why's it so bright...

There's noise, I can't focus on anything. I think someone's hovering over me...

"Back! Get back damnit!"
someone was shouting, I think the person hovering over me.

"What, why? Is he awake!?"
one of the voices from the noises in the background, sounded like a guy's voice, I think.

"Just get out! We can't have you in here right now."
the first person again.

There was some shuffling, people leaving, with some raised voices, protests on being forced out of the room. A sliding door, only one pair of feet coming back towards me, yet it sounded as if it was going away. I was fading again, my senses were dimming, they're saying something to me, I don't know what.

It's darker now, maybe night time, I'm not sure, I don't know the time. My eyes are working this time. I can clearly see a man mopping the floor outside the glass wall. There's also a large, circular desk with a single person at it, that's where the majority of the light I could see was coming from, the other lights were dim. I had decided I was in a hospital.

There was a weight on me. I looked and I saw someone layig next to me on the small bed, sleeping. I recognized her, and I smiled. Damn she was beautiful. A nurse came, saw I was awake, and moved to wake her up. I made a gesture, shook my head, and tried to say "let her sleep" but I'm not sure what actually came out. But the nurse stopped, smiled, checked the lines, and left. Then everything started going black again.

This time it was cold. She was still there next to me, still sleeping, it didn't look like much time had passed at all. My body felt cold, yet hot to the touch. I felt strange. I decided I was tired of feeling, that it wasn't worth it. I hoped she wouldn't be sad, she needn't be. It was just time to let go, there was a beeping noise, a noise that seemed to be getting flatter. It was just time to...let...go...
